Very windy today, garden now full of leaves. If it carries on at this rate, chances of a colourful autumn will be gone before we're into October! |

very windy in Cheshire too, some of the apples left on the trees (didn't manage to pick them all) are getting blown off, and a wood pigeon nesting late in the sycamore tree must be getting sea sick by now. Hope her nest stays up there. |

A very blustery day indeed, got the washing dry atleast.
Torrential rain has been bashing away at the windows all evening, horrible!

One sharpish short shower in Northampton and the rest of the day has been quite sunny and muggy. Bob has pretty much finished the greenhouse in between showers and high winds, except for the automatic vents which have dubiously weak screws and need a bit of bodging to improve them. We really need them as it gets amazingly hot in there for a north-facing site! The mini cucumbers have really perked up since moving them in! |

Unusually still outside early this morning. Developed into a muggy 16c & pored abit after lunch but stopped now.
