A few light snow showers here so far this morning. Snow on the ground is now about 4in deep. |

-12.8c here at 7am this morning according to the Met Office website. It's lovely and sunny at the moment but still really cold. I took my dog for his usual morning walk and could see the sunlight glinting off tiny ice or frost particles in the air. |

I'm rather amused by some of the comments, regarding being cold. It is WINTER and I would expect it to be cold, what do some people expect - a heatwave in January. |

The sun is out, the snow is on the ground (although underneath all that harmless-looking fluffy white stuff is some evil ice!)
No cold wind yet so it's not too bad really 
This is how winters should be - I love it!

We've had a few days of glorious sunshine and blue skies! - with today no exception!
The snow 'ain't going anywhere fast though, coz it's so c.c.c.cold.
A bitter wind was blowing up on Stanage Edge yesterday, making the snow swirl everywhere. I couldn't stop taking photos though and my fingers felt like they'd drop off any minute!!

I have photos of Derwent Edge ( from Sunday), White Edge/Froggat Edge/Curbar Edge (from Monday) and Stanage Edge from yesterday!
Oh, and a few local woodland shots from Wednesday too!
I'll start uploading right now!
