Whats your weather like today?

It snowed here too (gor half an hour) but we were a few miles away up the pretty country lane when it did! Not fair! (pouty/strange green coloured smile!)

Snowy in Bakewell today, although just a thin layer ATM. More forecast for tomorrow though! Can't wait

Been snowing up here in the North-East, nothing to get excited about. About a inch or so deep, it's tended to be drifting, due to the strong North-Easterly winds.

Anyway, it was nice cycling home from work in that lovely fresh virgin snow, which was lovely and soft. But not so lovely when it turns to slush and ice

That's right, Foxy. It is slightly warmer here than it was earlier on this evening, and the snow has turned to sleet. The little bit of snow we had settle is getting slushy. It could be black ice by morning.

Coldest it's been so far, dustings of snow, hardly any. Bitter NE wind. Grass in fields crisp and frozen, Ice on the water troughs.Can't help feeling sorry for homeless living out on streets.This frost will stop the grass growing now, tho' I saw a Daisy, a Dandilion, and a Buttercup in flower 2 days ago, albeit amongst the grass.

The homeless was exactly my comment when we went to bed last night - a cardboard box aint so good in weather like this .........

This morn we've had a bit more snow and it looks like a nippy wind ....... and the car and campervan have to be de-iced and moved so he can get the works van out to go to work (should have put them back in their proper positions yesterday after taking the bed to the tip and before it snowed - will I ever learn .........) Brrrrrrr - better get on with it ..........

Twasn't as bad as sit looked - snow is soft and fluffy and came off easy - tho windscreens are freezing now the wipers have been over ...... hands in the washing up bowl when I came back in

There is only half an inch of soft stuff but it is all over everywhere, grass covered and a pale and glassy dawn is breaking - going to be blue and very very cold by the looks of it ..........
