The weather here is atrocious. persistent heavy rain and blustery wind. never seen the river cart so high.

Woke up to yet another day of rain, rain, rain. Its pointless filling the bird feeders because the wind is winning in its 'see how fast I can empty them' game.
Yet the temperature is warm, warmer than some of the summer days we had, which drove me to put my large fan up to a higher setting..(wind inside and out

), amazing considering its the 19th of November.

I have, however, been watching worms appearing on the lawn to stretch around in semi-circles 'til they find a leaf and then slowly drag it underground.
Cool or what?
Oh, what a busy life I lead. LoL

Well,here in the South we're playing 'The Waiting Game,' windier now but still dry, tho' they've promised us lotttts of rain starting in the night.,tho' we'll have to have a lot to catch up with you 'Guys and Dolls' up North. Parts of Cumbria well under water according to the news.There won't be many leaves left on the trees after this wind.Don't know what we'll wake up to in the morning, but I can guess.'Stormy Weather.'.......Posie...

Very windy all day, with grey skies but no rain. I went on the moors this morning with my little weather recording devide and recorded a maximum wind-speed of 54.9 mph.

Very windy but dry today, good day for hanging the washing out lol. Another very mild day, max temperature 13.4°C.

Both the Tees and Wear are on the point of flooding in various places, skies like doom for a good part of the day, though thankfully mild. Horrible wind that nearly took me off my feet in Middlesbrough earlier. Never thought the Boro would offer anything that would sweep me away, one lives, one learns.

Cars are wet so it has rained overnight again - its grey with a suspicion of a sunrise of davy crockets cabin ........ windy and very mild - forecast is for rain after today right round to Tues - having said that they forecast heavy rain for us yesterday and there wasn't a drop

I cancelled my going out plans cos of that forecast - keep saying I'll stop watching and just go out when I want to regardless
