Heavy frost over night -4 ,sun has still not managed to get rid of it from the roofs yet ,according to forecast temps tonight to drop to -7

No sun here today Bill The temperature started at about 6c and slowly edged up to almost 9c,I thought is was chillier here,its clearly a lot colder for you. |

you know the old saying enough to freeze the ..... of a brass monkey

And the other "Freeze a jolly good fellow,and so say all of us"  ,do you normally get temperatures that low at this time of the year Bill?Its still cloudy here,so hopefully wont get too cold tonight  |

Another crisp clear sunny start - overnight low of -8.6 C .... but beginning to warm up a bit now with the sun (-7.2) !!

A beautiful morning here in South Cumbria. A nice crisp frost blue skies and bright sunshine, a change from the miserable rain last week.
Fully expecting jet fighters today, they always come on the finest of days! |
