That's weird, Pippa, hasn't been really windy here, just a bit blowy, and a little bit colder. Still not Gloves Weather yet.

Btw folks, I posted a link to claim a free loaf or two of Hovis white bread in the Treehouse, but hardly anyone has investigated. It's a genuine offer, I've saved £2.28 by printing off coupons that I used at Tesco -if you don't eat white bread perhaps someone you know would appreciate a free loaf. I passed on a loaf to a friend who is strapped for cash at present.

Forecast for Sunday is naff, but maybe it will blow over quickly. Planned to get out walking around Catterick Bridge/Richmond area.

Tbh, (to be honest) I am getting a tad uncomfortable with the mildness of this autumn down here in the south.....not that I mind! It's just so...unseasonal! I recall around the time of my birthday (i.e. mid-November) it could even be snowing in years long gone!

But at the moment, hovering on the brink of November, I can still get out there and do my gardening in a t-shirt and jeans!
