Last night we had a thunderstorm with hailstones. One measured 15mm across! 
Today it's nice and warm again - with a heatwave expected this week!  |

That's a biggy Jase! Yep it's gonna get hotter, but also increasing risk of thunderstorms so watch out!
Started off cloudy and misty again here but soon brightened up, upto 21.4°C so far, a little cooler than yesterday. |

I got caught in the rain across a field about 2 miles from home when a kind gentleman offered the use of half of his brolly..
I politely refused and got wet lol..
It was so warm the shower was quite refreshing.. |

Too bloomin' hot! There's no sun to go with it, though, just a very oppressive and heavy heat. A slight breeze in the last hour or two that has helped slightly  Wouldn't be surprised to hear a bit of thunder later.

Terrific rainstorm, a real biblical deluge! - we now have a pond where we never did before!
Still, the garden needed it - and I saw 3 froglets this morning on my stroll out near the ponds, so they will be happy!

Hot and sunny, just like yesterday and the day before and the day before and.... It has been a bit muggier these last two days but still no rain to speak of except a 15 minute heavy shower that got us all excited on Saturday. There hasn't been any serious rain here for over a month now. All my firends in other parts of the country say we're lucky but they didn't have to water my allotment this afternoon! |

A foggy start to the morning,when it lifted was a warm,mostly sunny day with a nice breeze.Not as humid as yesterday-thank goodness

ellen | Hi ellen once again its been so hot and muggy and its forcasted 30 all week here, I suppose its because we are only 1 mile from the sea that we just dont get the rain here , never mind alot of my garden is now well established so I dont water as much as I did in the first 2 years we moved here , but ive 5 empty water butts waiting for rain. shei
