I agree with Gill - I've just commented in the snow pics thread that they are a great record of the past few days around Britain . |

A serious question. When and why do we get Sunsets? Is now a good time to get sunsets? I love Leifus's idea but may be we won't see many sunsets over the next week.

I think what Gill means is that we should be posting sunsets that we see from now on and not be trawling through our photos to find old ones. On another forum I use we have an ongoing sunrise/sunset thread and, like the snow photos this week, it is interesting to see what comes from other parts of the country.
I can see what Camo is saying, but if it was an ongoing thread, it wouldn't matter about not getting any next week.

Roy | Good question. I am never out and about to see sunsets here anyway, and I would have to go for a drive to see one...Can you include sunrises, too?
Another question, can you tell by looking at a photo whether it is a picture of a sunrise or a sunset (if you're not familiar with the location ). | | | |
