I know what you mean about hills, I'd hate to live somewhere completely flat. This area doesn't compare to the Peak District and such like in Derbyshire, but the Chilterns make for very pleasant walking country. Rolling countryside with alternating hills and valleys (I usually liken them to a giant sheet of corrugated iron!), with the steep escarpment along the northern edge giving great views over the Vale of Aylesbury or the Oxfordshire Plain. |
