Snow or Snowdrops...  
First pic was taken on he 9th Feb, last year, the other was taken on the 2nd of Feb this year.
What a difference. The trees haven't grown much though.

well I have been back to the scots pines today and it seems aliens have landed.......
and they've brought their dog.....  
Here's my favourite one for today 
and the footpath home

Really fab pix on here, my favs are DaveP's B&W trees, Sunny's bridge, Leif's snow covered twigs, Gill's Scot's Pines .. oh and the ladybirds .. and the LTT's at the feeding station .. where do I stop?!!
Haven't been able to get out the house for one reason or another (and not just because of snow!), so this is my only contribution (I did have another fairly nice one of a robin but Picasa seems to have eaten it  ):
