| | | Snow...with thunder and lightning! Well I've NEVER seen or heard that before. We've had thunder and lightning whilst having a blizzard!! Very strange. The wind is very strong too.
The telly went off for a few seconds too.
Is this unusual?

Is this unusual?  | not Witnessed it myself but my sister lives in Southampton, hope she's home safe soon, been up this weekend, has told me of this happening down there before  come On snow!

| | | Re: Snow...with thunder and lightning! If its any help Tameblackbird I am in Southampton and its fine here no sign of any snow. We had a few tiny flakes as the sun went down but none since and driving conditions fine. Having said that it can be totally different oce you get past Winchester towards Newbury Southampton very rarely gets bad weather. I travel up to my family Gloucester/Worcester way and its surprising how the weather changes in such a short distance. Hope ur sister home soon

A few years ago, we had a cold front squall sweep across, and that had heavy snow accompanied by thunder and lightning - which is very unusual!!
