| | | Re: batten down the hatches Why does the flippin snow always arrive just in time to go back to work!
Never seems to snow on a Friday followed by a lovely sunny high on Sat/Sun...
Fingers crossed that this front is going to last until next weekend - outlook from MWIS: PLANNING OUTLOOK: all mountain areas of Britain from Sunday
Persistent generally strong to on higher areas at times gale force westerly winds will bring several bands of heavy snow, interspersed by frequent heavy snow and hail showers in off the Atlantic. Over 3 or 4 days, this will bring copious snowfalls to western hills in particular, with snow lying even at low levels intermittently. |
