DANGER of walking on ice!

Adults and young people should know this of course and children are told but just in case, never hurts to have a reminder, since age does not always come into it! Ice is not always as thick as it looks and can be very uneven - it's easy to slip under if you go through it! Also dogs are in danger of running onto ice and again, can easily fall through, with owners putting their own lives at risk trying to rescue them.

I get so angry at people who allow their dogs onto ice.A guy waded in to save 2 freezing cold,very distressed spaniels,how lucky were they.Hope their owner learned a valuable lesson.
