Thunder Storm

What a night, we had lighting and thunder storms for about 40 mins, along with pouring rain.
It rained that hard it was running down the road like a small river
It was reported that there was a small tornado between Warwick and Leamington.
Wake up this morning greeted by you guessed it more rain.
Question for all you weather people.
What’s the longest Thunder storm record over Britain

Hi Mick,

Thats some strange weather! It snowed for a few seconds here last week. Not sure of the answer to your question though.

Not sure on the record but we had one that lasted about 8 hours last Sunday. 1 3/4 inches of rain fell during the storm, just under the months average of 2 inches.

Had quite a few storms in Cardiff. A few lightning strikes to houses and flooding.

I found this one yesterday Live Storm Data and it's the best one I've seen so far. It was very lively yesterday which explains why my modem kept going wonky!
