Weather in 2009? a hot summer?

So I'm getting all excited about spring, planning what plants to grow and where, hoping to get some veggies on the go....

I wonder if we will get a hot summer?
I think nature is owed a good year after the last two dull, wet miserable summers... I hope to see lots of nesting birdies this spring and heaps more butterflies and insects in the summer too...

Then again I can't bear to be in the office on a sweaty day, so I don't know what I want really...
Anyone have any predictions?

and I'm Father Christmas. If what you say is the case it owes Scotland big time as we have not had a decent summer for years.

Well it really cannot be as bad as the last two so called summers, but you never know..

I cant grow my chillies they need a long hot summer and so do I..

If that's a recent photo of you Ron, I'd say you do bear a passing resemblance to Father Christmas....so there may be hope for us yet then?

What do you mean, the weather in Scotland is supposed to be bad

As for the English weather we must be due something decent eventually although I'm not convinced I'll still be here when it arrives
