21st September - 1st day of Autumn

Sky TV just said that many people regard the 21st of September a the first day of Autumn. Hasn't felt like that here.

Up here in Cheshire, we've only had one day last week when it felt like autumn and at the moment it's more like summer, with several days of great weather. All the trees are still very green and the conkers aren't ready yet

I don't know, you can certainly feel a "chill" in the air now early mornings. With me living in the woods on the side of a hill (!) we get our fair share of mist, and the mist has been coming down this past few mornings.
