Afternoon cirrus and a sunset.

Took a short local walk this afternoon and the cirrus clouds were beautiful. The winds up there must have been very strong to produce the wispy trails. They stayed around long enough to give a golden sunset.

Ah!...Just had our first snow and hail shower of the day. temp= 1 deg.
strong North wind, wind chill approx, minus 12, it will get colder throughtout the day with prolonged snow later, extra treats for the Birdies
