| | | Cold What is up with our weather. Last week I was boiling and now I'm so cold I may have to put long trousers on. They say we will have another heat wave shortly. What's happened to make it so cold?

Long trousers all the way untill next summer. No more Ticks crawling up my legs and no need to carry frozen water bottles everywhere with me.

The thought of all those young fruit bodies emerging through sun drenched cow dung ... heaven is a fringed haycap
I've done a quick trawl of some places in Kent although not sure how far away some may be!
Down House is very good. Over 200 species can be found there. It's especially good for the rare waxcaps in the grassland areas.
Chislehurst common, Tudeley Woods, Northwood Hill, Hothfield Common, nr. Ashford, Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest. Plus you have all the marshes ..... You're a lucky girl
Good hunting - John |
