Autumnal

The past few days have felt like autumn has set in.....gusty wind, low grey cloud and a drop in temperature. It makes rather a nice change before the heatwave makes another appearence. I feel sorry for the birds in the garden though. They get bashed against our fence when they stand on a branch next to it. Don't seem to mind though. I'm going up to wales tommorow to try and find some Red Kites. Would this be good weather for them?

I'm by no means a Red Kite expert, but I wouldn't have thought high winds would encourage them to fly far.. Still, they are forecasting better weather later in the week and into the weekend so perhaps you'll be lucky...
One other point...watch you speed in Wales! I got done last week when I didn't even realise I was speeding so be careful!
