| | | Dry weather to continue? This weather forum does not seem to get used much. Can I provoke some interest in our weather from the rest of you. This year's weather in Cheshire has been so much like 1976 that it's uncanny. Dryish winter, cold wet spring and then baking summer.
I believe that this dry weather will last until the 22nd July or thereabouts. Maybe a week of less settled weather, then odds rather better than 50-50 in favour of another 3 weeks warm dryish weather.
Any other predictions? |

Mick | It's absolutely stair rodding it down, together with thunder and lightning, at my workplace in Leamington Spa at the moment and has been for the best part of at least an hour.

John | Same here in Birmingham. It's pitch black, chucking it down with rain with thunder and lightning every few minutes. What's happened to summer?

Matt | It's been sunny here to for the last hour but there is a rather large cloud that has just arrived that is depositing copious amounts of that wet stuff we affectionately know as rain.

| | | Re: Dry weather to continue? Back in Coventry and it is like night over here. Thunder and lightning and torrential rain. Doesn't bode well for the start of the three day Birdfair tomorrow.
Edit
It is as black as night now. hail stones and forked lightning right over our heads. Claps of thunder absolutely frightening and loud (right over our heads)
