| | | Will summer ever come? I absolutely hate this country's climate! its rain all the time! This was supposed to be the longest summer of my life (just finished GCSEs) ! and I have wasted half of it on these forums waiting for the rain to stop! I havent had chance to go to any nature reserves or do anything I planned! |

Get out there and get wet, there's still plenty to look at!

Yes I agree with what the other members have said "get your wellies on and go" if we all said we cant take our dogs out because its raining or cloudy then they would never go out would they? I always say go to zoos etc when its raining cos then you dont have to put up with the crowds of people much more fun, no screaming children. shei

Human nature. | Speak for yourself Wild-Woman. Up here in Scotland the last time I saw the sun was watching Wimbledon on T.V. but you are right, the British are never happy with the weather. I think we just like to complain about something.

Thanks for all advice | I do agree that dull weather can be very frustrating photographically, Last year was bad for the things I like to photograph, Winter was overcast all the time and so on. I love to take pics into the sun, to capture backlit leaves, to get a sunrise or sunset.
I do quite like a well waterproofed walk in the rain, you can be in your own world.
The most annoying weather is the "Will it, won't it" thing, take a waterproof and sweat, go in a t shirt and freeze, tak both and it is windy, so carry a bag full of stuff.
Yes it is easy to get out and it is good, but I would like some sun, and clear skies. |

Thanks for all advice | Bring stuff indoors and take studio shots - dry, no wind, no passing dogs, or pedestrians asking what you are doing. Chance to get some brilliant close ups.
