| | | Spanish Plume across Devon - Lightning Hi,
Here are a few lightning pictures from the 12th June 06 when the Spanish Theta -E/-W Plume made it's way across the Southwest of England. The Lightning was around 1 strike every 2-5 seconds at one point around 0400 BST. Storms stayed pretty intense on their way up through the country.
Hope you like them

| | | Re: Spanish Plume across Devon - Lightning Thanks folks,
The details for the pics were:-
30 second time exposure at 18mm and F5.6, F10, F20 respectively. ISO was 100, 200 and 400 respectively. I was basically trying out some stuff, never used the bulb feature on my 350D which i should have, would of got some great shots then.
Maybe when the next Spanish Plume drifts across i might get some good ones....
With Tropical Storm Alberto heading towards the UK by Monday, it should bring in some great convection and moisture and perhaps snap up some air from the Bay of biscay and northern Spain....so who knows !

Rich | Thanks for those details - I'm getting my 350D this week and that's one type of photography I'm hoping to do with it | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
