| | | Well done, weather forecasters - you really got it spot on here today. Driving home from Thirsk, looking down into the Vale of Pickering was a marvellous sight with heavy clouds coming in from the north west. Then thunder and spectacular lightning followed by hail stones and torrential rain. Previous to this we had been walking round in shirt sleeves in warm sunshine. |

Keep on sending the rain to Cambridgeshire, we need as much as we can get! Sorry anyone planning an outdoor bank holiday weekend, but it really has been too dry this year!
