| | | favourite BBC weather presenter. I'm obsessed with BBC weather forecasts. Here are my top three forecasters:
1. Daniel Corbett (number 1 by a long way)
2. Rob McElwee
3. Nick Miller
If I was going for fanciable female forecasters, then Hellen Willetts would be numero uno.
Does anyone else have their BBC favourites?

Incidently there's a vid on youtube of an out-take where his voice got distorted on live telly, if you think he speaks at 100 mph normally, watch it, it's hilarious!

Cheers for the You Tube bit Grump. I'll check it out now.

| | | Re: favourite BBC weather presenter. I suppose Paul Hudson gets my vote. He sometimes comes out with an outrageous aside. He once made a comment on a news item featuring some women on Leeds market (can't quite remember what he said) and I was amazed he didn't get the sack. |

Regards, Chris | Brilliant,
there's something about someone corpsing on live telly, or radio for that matter, which just makes me giggle (Charlotte Green on BBC4 did a great one recently...)

She's quite new and is mostly on News 24. She is my favorite but I'm slightly biased as I used to get a daily met brief from her each morning at work. Having said that she is actually one of the best and she's lovely.

| | | Re: favourite BBC weather presenter. The best weather forecasting is on the internet especially the Met Office website. You can home in on all the specific details at your own pace and not be distracted by the looks or weird mannerisms of the TV presenters! As for the worst, it must be the one sentence summary for the whole UK on the Today programme at half-past the hour. |

| | | Re: favourite BBC weather presenter. It amuses me that on CNN they do a world weather forecast in about 30 seconds! Tornado here, tropical storm there....
About our local weather, I regularly find that I am so busy looking at how the presenter is presenting that it gets to the end and I found out that I was not actually listening to the weather at all.
