It certainly looks like winter is back with the snow coming this weekend, having to put bags over some bushes to stop their buds dropping off

On the plus side if it snows hard enough sleding

Well Saturday night it rained and it seemed to be wet and windy all night but when we opened the tent in the morning we were greeted by beautiful white scenery - as well as snow falling in on us - lol Real mix of weather - warm in the sun but icy in the wind - but some beautiful starry nights

Saturday morning (12th April) we woke up to about and inch and a half of fresh snow - ee lad but it did look grand. Gone by midday though.

We had a medium frost yesterday, lots of the daffodills have died and their heads look like they might drop off.

Lovely snow here on the Cairngorms .... best we have had for a number of years .... went up yesterday ... lots of skiers ... but the sun was lovely and warm and people were picnicing by Loch Morlich

That sounds lovely - it's really beautiful up there in the snow. Lucky you having a sunny outlook for the weekend - i've got a forecast like Poirot's down here!! Though i've managed to leave my trainers in tepee land so...!!!
