| | | Snow at Easter? Wonder what the odds are? Looks a distinct possibility from the forecast. I remember a few snow showers during a previous Easter once when it was much later in the year. |

| | | Re: Snow at Easter? Well, I've just looked at the MET office forecast and it is predicting wintry showers over the Easter period - but this may just be over northerly hills!!!! Maybe I've a chance of some snow after all!

Easter in snow, Christmas in mud.
Christmas in snow, Easter in mud.
There's also another Easter related weather saying:
If it rains on Easter Day,
There shall be good grass but very bad hay.
(''which means a wet June'')

| | | Re: Snow at Easter? I remember snow at Easter. It must have been sometime between 1976-1978...while I was living in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
It was during the school holidays and it lasted for a good week or so, we built an igloo and a brilliant snowman which lasted even after all the other snow had gone.
There was tobogganing and a lot of other "messing around in snow" activities.... It was great! |

| | | Re: Snow at Easter? Just looks like more rain over the Easter period for me..but talking about snow when my parents first moved down to Wales a few good yrs ago now they had my sister kids to stay for the early part of may they were able to make a small snowman they took a pic of it and sent it to me.....but then my mum has realized that since living there you can get four seasons in a day...
