We missed it here in Leigh - fast asleep for once - think the house could have fallen down and we wouldn't have noticed  A local friend said their bed shook and the warbrobes rattled - so it happened over here but we missed it and I'm right sorry about that 
I remember one at 8.15am about 20 years ago (when I was still a boozer). I woke up to the bed shaking and stuff rattling in the room . . . in my beffudled state I thought I had the raving DT's and it might be a good idea to stop drinking . . . till I turned the telly on downstairs and everyone was wittering about an earthquake . . .
