It has been a lovely sunny day here.Finished work early-1pm and went for a long walk,bit breezy but was warm 
Leaves are falling fast though from the trees!

You will not believe it we have some nice blue skies and sunshine  makes a change but it could be short lived as the clouds are starting to build up out in the Moray Firth

Well started off with blue skies .. then by 8.30 a heavy mist seemed to roll in ..it took till midday to clear and its been lovely sunshine and very warm with temp upto 18c..looks like the same for the next 3-4 days ahead..fingers crossed..

Sorry Bill - its been beautiful here in south Lancs - wasn't too good this morning while I worked but when I got home this aft it was absolutely gorgeous and I decided to sit in the garden - for the first time this year  I dusted the sunbed off and went to sleep on the lawn - trouble is the sun is low and soon got behind the big tree - that woke me up fast but it was very summery - I had to keep reminding myself that it is October!!

This morning it was persistent heavy drizzle which was quite annoying as it was mild so I couldn't make up my mind whether it was best to wear a coat or not. This afternoon it dried up nicely.
