Generally grey and overcast here this morning, with just one brief drizzly shower. Forecast was for showers this afternoon, but so far it's remained dry and it is actually quite bright at the moment, although still a lot of cloud about.

Dark and wet I think we need to blame everyone who says 'Rain, rain, go away and come back another day'. Not sure about it going away but it does come back another day - every day in fact!!!!

A bright morning and then it all changed! Rain since lunchtime and it has hardly stopped since! Quite heavy showers around 6.00pm! I have the central heating on!

Another lovely summers day much the same as it has been all week, im not complaining, we had a bit of overnight rain which is good and nice days. shei.

Non stop heavy rain since 10 pm last night no sign of it stopping the river is high and roads are flooded,the main road into Inverness under the A9 is flooded completely drive with care a couple of years ago the rain water ran into the hotel car park 300 metres away and cut them off completely people had to be rescued by coastguard in inflatable dinghys it hit all the news progs looks like its heading that way again.
Forecast for rain right thru until the week-end so heavy flooding expected

It rained all night here too tho we're just having heavy thundery showers at the mo!
