Lovely bright sunny day here with a gentle breeze.Hope it stays like this for the 2 weeks the kids are off.

I am in Langdale, Cumbria and this is the first day it has felt Spring like. It is supposed to spoil it and rain at some point but at the moment it is clear, around 12c with just a slight breeze of 8mph but with lovely sunshine.

Here today in my part of Surrey has been absolutely lovely - the thermometer in my car registered 17.5 degrees coming home from Guildford!!!! Had a really lovely walk - without long sleeves!!!!!! Can't believe it's supposed to snow this weekend

Cold Damp and very overcast now as I type this its coming down in a blizzard and its freezing to go along with it roll on the winter so we can get some decent weather

Have had bright sunshine aaaaalllllll day and it's been warm - fabulous! Have noticed the sky to the north go grey a couple of times but no precipitation of any kind <yet>

A light covering of snow this morning over here (West Gloucestershire), but the sky is clearing and I think it'll soon melt.

Sunday the 6th April Last night we had very heavy Snowfall and its covering the ground today looks lovely in the sun ,it wont last long as the sun is looking down on it,The Birds in the Garden seem to be really enjoying it.

Is this really April? Have just been woken up by the very excited kids, to find a heavy covering of snow.It`s still going with big flakes falling.Going out to get some photo`s and make snow men hopefully post some later.

Got up at 5.30 this morning + calm + no snow. Decided to leave the house at 6.20 to do my first BBS survey as I'm going away at the end of the week, but he snow had started + then became pretty heavy + settling, so survey will have to wait until I get back. We had no snow at all during the winter, but our second lot this spring, though this is more substantial.

there are little white fluffy bunnies fluttering down from the sky and sitting on the ground making it all fluffy and white.....................

Its looking lovely out there this morning with a couple of inches of snow all around.....Its still snowing so Lets hope it lasts for a little while just enough to be able to get out ther and have a little fun with the kids...

It's very unusual for Isle of Wight... there's a snow shower here right now - big fluffy flakes drifting down and its settled to about an inch or so. When I got up this morning just before 8 it was bright and sunny but within quarter of an hour all the snow was falling... and its still going.

I bet its all gone tommorro though maybe even by this afternoon....

...poor old birds though.... it will be a cold blast for them just at the wrong time....

At last - winter has properly arrived in Southampton! Snowing outside as I type this. Have been outside my house to get some pics before it all disappears . Poor old birds tho - they all seem pretty shell shocked . Still, at least I'm still feeding them round here .

2 to 3 inches of snow here at Middle Earth, and so cold ,the Wagtail kept swapping legs to stand on.
This was taken through the window, at 7.45 this morning.

We have a good covering off Snow But its Thawing now,Lovely and sunny not a cloud in the sky. A couple off Canada Geese just flew over heading for the Lake down the road.A Blackbird on my shed roof looks like he is eating the snow.

1-2 inches of snow here in the Chilterns, and it's still snowing slightly now.

Started snowing here at 6am this morning and within a hour we had 2 inches, starting to thaw now.

I was going fishing but competition cancelled at 7.30am as access road to venue blocked by accident and snow drifts.

We woke to the heaviest snow we have seen for ages and that is very unusual for this area we usually miss all the snow.The scene was very pretty as the snow had covered every branch on the trees but shame for all our early flowers!
