Just had a very heavy downpour here this morning. Now it's grey and overcast.

Was going to go out early this morning. Got up at 5am & it was raining & windy. The rain has stopped but it's overcast & still windy.

Day started dull,overcast with a light drizzle ,as day wore on its been warm but mainly overcast.Been breezy too which blew any rain clouds over before they could deposit their load!!!

It started out reasonably promising but has deteriorated to blustery rain and grey skies.

I went to Sissinghurst today which is about 45 miles to the south. It rained there around lunchtime then was mild with cloud for the rest of the afternoon. Came back to south London and it's raining again, but only lightly.

Yes that would do nicely, on watching your weather down essex you also seem to have much the same as we do in suffolk. shei.

It was nice and sunny at breakfast time, but soon clouded over. Remained very grey and overcast while I went for a long walk, but it remained dry. Quite windy at times. Brightened up a bit now.

Hi. It's 5pm and dry at the moment, but overcast and grey clouds. Brief glimpses of blue sky during the afternoon. Warm with gentle breeze. Earlier today, the weather produced short showers on and off. Hoping for dry and not too windy because I'm currently having the front of the house painted.

Grey all over....
Drip,drip,drip....wet,wet,wet.....its august in england, I like it though much better than heat waves and droughts which really do cause damage to our wildlife
