Bill, I still think your in Majorca, dull, windy and damp down here but I saw the sun briefly around 4.00pm, it made my day. Forecast is terrible too.

Hurrah, it's the summer, it's the last few days of term and the kids are on activities week (rock climbing, canoeing etc.). Which means I get to spend the day sat by a rhyne watching the little darlings and being the big scarey teacher for those who misbehave and......... it's grey and drizzley. Still 7 more get ups until the holidays.

Its lovely and hot at times then its overcast.
Went to work in my shorts today. Fingers crossed it stays dry being St swithins day and all that.

Torrential rain early this morning but not too bad now, sunny, dark clouds and a very stiff breeze. I could wear shorts and wellies.
What's St Swithins day then?

I love it up your way Bill.
I stayed at a place called Tolle Farm for a few months, just outside Poolewe at the head of Loch Maree, a good few miles north west of you. It was beautiful but when the weathers bad it's really bad.

Weather in Nairn today is beautiful Had to go to see my specialist today in Inverness Hospital and the weather there was completely dull and overcast its amazing the differance of 16miles between areas

Hello Elaine yes I have been mortified we are actually getting some nice weathera gain for a change interspersed evry 2/3 days with rain but even at that cannot complain.

As for specialist not too bad they are not too happy with progress a lot of set backs but trying to control it all with artificial Hormonial Drugs and have been order to stay calm and not get stressed and to remain calm.
Thats a laugh for a start with my grand kids staying 4 doors away but would`nt have it any other way.Was lucky last year and just glad to be able to enjoy life as it is ,

Hello its been hot today with lot of sunshine and a bit of cloud, 24 degrees, no rain forcasted here for the next 5 days, and ive already started using my water butts again, so ill soon be whinging again. No chage there then,
