Hi Bill

I'm in Newton Abbot in Devon (between Exeter and Torquay) and its raining. Steady wet stuff, not too heavy but constant. The wind is starting to get up a bit. The sky is a sheet of overcast grey. No flooding for me 'cos I'm on a hill over-looking the town. Its not cold; rather warm really.

This area of Devon seems to be a little more sheltered from the wind SSW 18km/h and the forecast is clearing during the evening to showers.

So in conclusion, it's not too good for the roses and useless for doing the laundry. The dogs look miserable, but as it might ease up later; there is always hope.

So it looks like your the lucky one.

Central Scotland - Bermuda shorts weather up here, as long as you have a brolly and wellies handy. As well as the sun there is rain and wind.

I've always wanted a pond but the unplanned small lake where my patio was isn't really what I wanted! Hasn't stopped raining all day.

Still, I'm still giggling - my hubby's taken some of his residents away this week and is in a caravan on the top of a cliff in Dorset in the rain and wind! Shame!

HelloEllen, Well it started raining around 11 this morning but not too much until about hour ago and we now have lovely grey clouds and a bit heavier rain, I looked at the water butts they now got about 2 and half foot of water in I wanted them full. I know im never satisfied, if my butts dont fill up soon im off to live in scotland, I bet Ron and Bills butts are full up arnt they boys. shei.
