Hello Elaine according to the internet not caught the weather on TV wife watchs Big Brother 24/7 so have to catch weather when and where possible ,but tomorrow is supposed to be sun this is getting to good to be true

I feel like going out & building an Ark!!!It has been tipping it down all morning here in West Dorset.Our lane looks like a river!Very misty too - but then it often is where we are right on the side of Askers.Because our landlord has cut down some trees(Not happy!& are now moving out!)my birdtable has no shelter & looks more like a birdbath - even though it has drain holes init!

HI There,
..from the heart of rural MidlothianIts been raining for most of the morning its just stopped and it seems to be getting a bit brighter so I am hopeful for the rest of the day.The pressure is 1008steady and temp 13.5C.

HI Shei,
Thanks for the reply and welcome.Altough Im only 10 miles from Edinburgh I am 209 meters ASL.It is very often raining here when it is dry in the city.I am pron to frost, snow,fog and of course winds which can cause severe drifting when it snows.Ive no worrys about torrential rain though flooding is very rare being on top of a hill.

Hello Bill No we dont need your and rons wet suits , as usual we havent had that much rain been raining since about 11 this morning but only got about 1 foot in bottom of water butts,more like a drizzle, IM GONNA SHOOT THAT WEATHER MAN HES WRONG AGAIN . its quite bright here now so I bet even the drizzle will stop soon shei.

I hope no one gets flooded, this is what it looked like at the end of our road last year, luckily our house is a little bit higher up so we were alright, a few of my mates weren't so lucky.
