Another beautiful day - at the moment anyway  Blue sky and bright sunshine - so i might try and sneak in a walk between taking the paintings down and off frames.  Yesterday was also sunny and warm - went for a walk along the river with a friend..then sat in a pub garden all afternoon.

Sunshine and showers here today - few bits of thunder this morning. Just had a very heavy shower with some hailstones thrown in, but now it's calm and sunny again. |

A couple of light showers but mainly dry and bright, then a fantastic hail storm about lunchtime, turned everything white!

Well after the hail and lighting yesterday lets hope today is a better day...Its a bit fresh out there at the moment with quite strong winds at times...with a high of 13c later and rain moving in for this afternoon..It dont look too promising..

at the mo its bright blue skies mostly interupted by the sun playing hide and seek behind the white and grey clouds that seem to be ignoring it as they are having their own fun playing tag with each other |

22mph winds  I wanted to go sailing, but i find the club is usually 50% or so windier than where i am. I have no birds today, does the wind make birds shelter, as my feeders are barren today.

Weather was OK this morning - hazy sun - went with local group to look for migrant birds arriving at Culver Down near Sandown....... ,saw a few Swallows, Housemartins, Whitethroat, heard lesser Whitethroat, Rock Pipits, ChiffChaff.....
...but... this afternoon the weather is very overcast and about half an hour ago there were two deafening cracks of thunder - looking down across the town all the birds were spooked and flew up from the shore. |

A rather dull and cold week end for me..even though i spent most of it was brightened up by looking around Art Galleries with my Daughter and then going to the Cinema..But while out runningl early this morning it was cold and damp..Warm weather returning by mid week...Lets hope so .
