Heavy snow this morning about 4 inches. The sun came out in the afternoon. Walking the dog I had a thick coat and a gillet underneath. I was sweltering when I got home. The weather is going to get a lot worse according to met check.. |

We actually had a bit of snow - first time I've seen that stuff on the ground for a few years in this country- don't forget I am way down south!!But it didn't stay - sun was actually quite warm as my husband was out changing the tyres on my car and I sat sipping tea wathching him in a sheltered spot!Today a beautiful bright frosty start ! |

Not cold, sunny, but yesterday's thick snow still lying on the ground, crisscrossed with Badger paths.

Weather here is atrocious snow rain snow hail windy BUT no SUN everything else time to emigrate I think

After all the snow yesterday I wasn't sure what to expect today - it was bright this morning with a light dusting of snow. Icy showers and sunshine in the afternoon, and the gritting trunks were out earlier this evening - so it's anyones' guess what it'll be like tomorrow. |

Woke up this morning and we had about 1cm around 2 inches on the hills, was a pleasant suprise. This now makes it snow falling 4 days in a row, not bad for April. |

Very sunny day - has been since sunrise but chilly wind!Managed to sit on the patio earlier in a sheltered spot the suns rays are very warm!Huge clouds in the north but don't seem to be coming any closer! |

Today has been variable very wet and windy till lunchtime then wintry showers till teatime with sleet snow hail now I dont believe it the sky is blue and we have sunshine

I went walking in the Oxfordshire section of the Chiltern Hills today. A very nice day, with clear blue skies this morning and a pleasant temperature. It clouded over a bit from the west in the afternoon, but still mainly bright.
I saw several Peacock butterflies, the first ones I've seen this year I think. |
