Re: sunny day

I had a lovely walk late morning...Woodland full of Bird Song ...didnt even have to wear a coat or take an umbrella that's a first for awhile..Was able to open up the back door for awhile and clear those cobwebs out..Had blue skies alday long ...Had plenty of Birds visiting the feeders etc...That little bit of sunshine makes all the difference..

Re: sunny day

I had a lovely walk with the dog. The ground was saturated still. But there was warmth in the sun. The birds were singing away it really felt like spring. I do hope we get a decent summer this year.

Re: sunny day

Lovely day today in my part of London, I went out for an afternoon walk and felt a little too hot. I don't know what the temperature was but it must have been a degree or two milder than of late. I'm sitting here freezing now though.

Re: sunny day

There can have been very few days since Christmas, on which it has not rained at some time in the 24 hour period, at least it seems that way in the NW. In fact many days, like today, you have needed your lights on in the house, due to the total dense cloud cover. The next few days look like more of the same.

Not very good for getting out with the new camera!!

Re: sunny day

it would be nice to have one of these soon. Maybe tomorrow according to the forecast, there hasn't been one here for a couple of weeks just rain, rain, rain, and now the ground is soaked

Re: sunny day

Cloudy down here in London this morning. I love winter, but I prefer crisp, sunny winter days, going for walks down by the river.

The weather can't seem to make its mind up at the moment!

Re: sunny day

First dry sunny day here as well for ages. Great to get the doors and windows open to air out the house and dry the floors, that badly needed a wash after all the mud being dragged in. Haven't got further than the garden today, but I did manage to walk round and inspect the hellebores that have just started to flower and check the progress of the spring bulbs.
