Chances of a white christmas ??

It would be lovely to have a white christmas and everywhere look really seasonal Alas !! I think i am in for wet dreary weather according to the met office..Maybe some of you other members will be fortunate enough to get a cold crisp christmas with a chance of some white stuff falling.
I cant remember last time we had a white christmas its been many years ago..

Normally up here its quite good have been up here 8 years now and only last year was there no snow on the ground at christmas but it looks promising again for this year especially with the sharp frost we have been getting -12 last night and they reckon there will be no change tonight reading -3 at the moment 1330hrs(130pm) any that falls now within the next few days will be snow

Ive heard that Scotland might be in for a white christmas...Lucky you...

Brrrrrh, I'm shivering here just looking at those temperatures Bill. I mean I think its cold in the south west right now, the wind is bitter but it must feel a heck of a lot colder where you are. According to the Met Office its around 5 degrees here. I wouldn't make a very good Eskimo me thinks!

I would settle for a hard frost as well instead of wet and dreary.Sure some of the members will be lucky enough to get a white xmas,.

I've never had a real white Christmas. The nearest I've had was snow on Boxing day, back in the long hard winter of 1963. It's NEVER snowed, or had snow on the ground on Christmas day.
I live on in forlorn hope!
