| | Tonights freezing fog in Tilbury, Essex Not sure if this is the right place (if any) to put these picture, but just looked out the window and saw this amazing seen.
Let me explain, we live on the 13th floor and due to the temperature outside you get low lying freezing fog. Just so happens it was so low lying that it was under our window seal.
Oh, and not to mention this lonely wandering cloud that my better half caught this morning, apparently it hung around for a couple of hours. |

Also nice having the Thames Estuary running away right in front of us. |

| | | Re: Tonights freezing fog in Tilbury, Essex I love weather like this, it's a bit fresh on the bike mind you. I work down on Erith marshes and as you turn onto the marsh on cold and frosty mornings, the view of the sun rising through the mist and turning the frosty fields a pale orange sets you up for the rest of the day. The cloud in your picture is steam probably comming from a power station. When the air is still and cold the vapour clouds from various power stations and the paper works east of Crayford Ness looks like a hot air balloon race and they can stay all day untill the wind picks up, it would be interesting to know how high they get. |
