snowing here in staffordshire quiet big flakes but not sticking due to the wet ground. anyone else got snow.

No snow here, just rain. Dont often get snow in the Thames valley. However when we do we know just about everyone else has it.

Bit sleety when I took the dogs out earlier, and there were lumps of snow on the road which had dropped off vehicles so it's settled somewhere nearby in the Derbys Dales - bet it's snowing in Buxton!. It's just wet and horrible at the moment.

Would think Leek and Buxton are having quiet a bit off snow as it is still coming down here. If we have it Leek and Buxton have twice as much as us.

I live near Presteigne, in Mid-Wales and we've got a good covering of snow. It looks very pretty but I don't think it will last very long. |

No snow but there was a very high wind and a lot of rain overnight.The wind was so strong it blew my swing seat across the garden

Awoke to a dusting of snow on the Pennines above Rochdale. Then whilst sat by a roaring fire in a pub on the Saddleworth hills, this afternoon, we had a bit more. Marvellous!

Regards, Chris | Oh I forgot to say that I finally got round to asking about Adders in saddleworth at the brownhill centre and the lady there said there have been unconfirmed sightings but nothing for certain. |
