Well done everyone for your snow reports. None here in Staffordshire but its freezing cold.

| | | Re: first snow it's here in ballachulish ,quite a bit lying at sea level , but it isn't supposed to last . it's more stable a few hundred feet up on the hills around me ,so glen coe will be "intresting" ,especially if the forcasts correct and it will freeze tommorrow. checked the temperature about 3-00pm and it was on 0 degrees

Richard | We had one day of snow - about 2 inches deep last January. Where I work there are 34 staff - 6 of us "managed" to get in. Pathetic! Do you remember when we had a few inches 2 - 3 years ago and people were stranded on the M11 for 12 hours! Makes me cringe to think about it.
I love snow and am thinking of flying to Scotland for a short break just so I can see some this winter. |

| | | Re: first snow Sorry to disappoint but only had a slight flurry here in Nairn plenty around us was going over to Glencoe tomorrow until Seamus said its started to clear up there is just no justice will have to try Aviemore again there during the week on New Years Day and there was a slight covering but going by local news if its to be believed the A9 at the Sloch Summit was closed for a while so could be lucky will let you all know tomorrow
