| | | Re: first snow  Saw some extremely small "diamond dust" flakes falling early hours of this morning and the neighbouring roof has a very fine dusting of snow on it. Not exactly a proper snowfall but I guess it's what I would call "Swindon's First Snow" this year. Let's hope it's an indicator of things to come! It's -3C here at the moment and foggy but Netweather has predicted a 15% chance we'll get snow here over the next few days. Anyone else with any sign of flakes?!!!

| | | Re: first snow just seen the weather for the week ahead we are in for heavy snow towards the end of the week around Wednesday and Thursday so may get wish and get back to Glencoe with the snow and Bauchille Etive Mhor it looks great incasded in the snow

Will be well prepared want to get over that way again as its so lovely with the snow especially around the Rannoch Moor area also lets just hope now for the snow the ski resorts up here need it also

| | | Re: first snow Had to go into Inverness shopping this afternoon and was looking over to Ben Wyvis just past the Black Isle in Wester Ross and geuss what there is SNOW on the top of the mountains and yes you have it no camera the scene was lovely,so hope for us up here for the winter images that we want

| | | Re: first snow Its snowed here twice since i last posted, its snowing quite fast at the moment hehe!
I drove through some nearby villages in Tameside and the pavements & roads were clear, as soon as i dropped someone off at the train station it started snowing and within 5 minutes the pavements had a light covering of snow and the middle of the road was beginning to collect a little bit.
Not all the roads have been gritted here so they are covered in snow. |
