Rain has in fact stopped as of now. I have a cringeworthy feeling that there will be lots of ice on the roads tomorrow morning.  |

Just over an inch of snow now, and it's still snowing. Show springer just come inside and he looks like a yeti! Great fun, well as long as you don't have to go out of course.

It was very cold in Essex and Kent today but no snow .... just very windy and lots of rain from mid afternoon.
Bring on those cold, crisp, sunny and snowy winter days. I have almost forgotten what they are like.

still snowing here in Staffordshire only sticking on the roof tops. In 1965 it snowed on the 13th Nov with snow drifts in the Lake District lasting for 10 days. Not seen any birds this afternoon due to the weather.

last month, in glen duror, i was driving in snow .only a couple of inches and it was gone next day . some snow on the tops last week but it didn't last long . getting colder as well.few winter birds arriving too

I saw my first (and hopefully last) snow in Cheshire today, didn't settle though. I see the longer term forcasts are predicting a milder end to November |

Sleet in the valley with a few proper flakes. Snow on the hill in front of the house. The opposite hill always disappears in bad weather, but I bet it's white tomorrow. |

After a very cold and windy day yesterday we had a light covering of snow around about 8pm...made the garden look very pretty..This morning theres blue sky around and the wind has dropped thanx goodness..so far its dry..

We had a little bit of snow yesterday evening, but it didn't lie and this morning is sunny and cold. It's four years since we had any snow this early here. That was a bad winter all round. |

Well by bed time last night we had about 3 inches of snow, still around this morning but seems to be melting. Roads are OK so no chaos this time. Wonder if the snow yesterday was the start of things to come. Better get the food and drink well stocked up.

We had snow flakes falling at about 7.00 pm last night and lasted until about 9.00 pm but didnt settle due to very wet ground. |
