| | | Talk about the weather. After all, it's something we all have a moan about.
Today, in Kent,it's doing my least favourite of all our weather conditions...it's windy.
My perfect day has warm, not hot, sunny weather with a big blue sky.
Wind just gives me an ear-ache and my photos are rubbish.
What's your favourite weather?

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. My favourite weather has to be similar to yours. I don't like it too hot, just warm, blue sky and definately no wind, it blows all sorts onto the camera. Today though it's raining, windy and definately not a blue sky . |

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. Can I cheat and have two?
The first is a warm summer day with a few fluffy clouds and a light breeze.
The second a crisp, clear, icy morning with a hard frost making the trees sparkle in the sun - as long as I'm warmly wrapped up with a cup of hot tea in prospect We haven't see many of those in recent years.
Definitely not the grey, damp and windy conditions we've got this morning. |

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. Well I'm not bothered if it's hot or cold as long as there is a bit of sun and not much wind. The sun helps with the photography as does there being little wind. it's very frustrating trying to focus on any birds when they are swaying about in the wind.

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. Bestest weather for walking is clear, bright and with a crisp cool breeze ...
Bestest for drama is that huuge rainstorm that Kiwi mentioned ... pounding raindrops the size of quail eggs that drench you before you get to your front door from the car |

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. Well it was rather a dull and windy day for me ..The sun didnt manage to pop it head out till late afternoon ..The other bright moment was when a Sparrowhawk came into the garden and unfortunately made off with a sparrow..Havent seen any other birds since..It didnt matter that one of the cats was sitting just yards away...and no i didnt have the camera ready ...one of the few times that i didnt have it on the table just in case...typical..

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. A very cloudy and breezy day here. Only highlights were of many Fieldfare and Redwing flying over later in the day. Upwards of a thousand seen all moving north east. Also over two thousand gulls flying north to roost.

aww lifes great! | I absolutely adore thunder storms I always open the window ands turn all the lights out (if it's night) I love the big mother crashes, havent had a good thunder storm for ages they start i get all exited and then they stop . I also love a nice crisp frost first thing in the morning especially if i'm still cosy under my duvet.

| | | Re: Talk about the weather. I like a warmish sunny day, no where near hot though, I feel most at home in a nice thick warm baggy jumper, but not keen on having to put a coat on, and be able to wander about the countryside without either being baking hot or freezing cold. I also love a thunderstorm, late at night, lying in bed with the curtains open watching the lightning light up the sky, and a lovely heavy snow storm, and walking through all the virgin snow and seeing all the prints from the animals all around, but I just wish the snow would disappear after 24 hours
