St Elmos Fire

Seeing the post on here about favourite mountains reminded me of the time I was high up around haystacks ( the Hill ) in the Lakes and ended up inside an electrical storm cloud and saw the sheep wire fence nearby apparently surrounded by a Halo and actually humming , The effect known as St Elmos fire,,,, It was an awesome sight that I doubt I will ever see again. I just wondered what other natural miracles other members had seen..

When open, but not in use, copper mesh fly-screens are put in place.We were watching a thunderstorm "walking" down the valley toward us when the screen began to glow a faint eerie glow
I was in an aircraft crossing the alps,the seat belt warning came on and almost immediately the plane dropped like a stone,outside the wing were flexing in an alarming way and blue intense glow surrounded the wing tip
