Have just been out in the garden, the sky is clear and its pretty cold. A frost is already forming, could be quite white out in the morning.
Very quite out also, heard a Tawny Owl calling and a few Redwing overhead. Also Mars about 10 degrees high in the northeast sky.

No frost for me..but a very clear starry sky first thing this morning..Looks like a sunny but fresh day ahead...

Slept in til 9am today on my day off  But it has been frosty on occasion in the past couple of weeks in Central Scotland |

I'm still going about with a t-shirt on so it can't be too cold. No frost as yet but it's still early Autumn. I like frosty weather as you usually get a sunny day, with clear skies. |

A frosty pattern on the windscreen here in East Yorks, but it wasn't still frozen when I set off for work.
Paul - is Mars the planet that seems to be glowing red?

Thanks for that Rich. I've been wondering how the townie foxes have fared and if the runaway cub has learned his lesson. I'm also hoping for more on the owls, Badgers and bats. |

We had first ground frost here in Jersey last night

No frosts here in Essex yet but the last few mornings have been much colder .... that little snowflake thing appeared on my car instrument panel to tell me that the tempearture was less than 5 degrees.
I love autumn and winter mornings with frost, sun and blue skies .... bring them on!

Nothing on the cars, but frost on the grass on the Forest rides this morning. Deeper in the woods was ok though. |

Yes, we've hard air frosts for the last three nights - a result of bright sunny days so shouldn't complain! 
Could be some time before we get ground frosts?
