Very hard frost in places here this morning,got some nice "frosty" photos while out and about. Getting very cold here too now so looks like it`ll be frosty again here tomorrow

- 3 here at the moment and is due to be -6 at sunrise tomorrow with yet more fog. Another cold one.

We've just had the first pre christmas frost here for a good few years! Last year we didn't get one until February! Lovely morning I can look one way and sea the sunrise over the sea and the other sparkling frost in the garden with the woods behind. Very clear air. It's better for you when there's frost or snow (and I believe by waterfalls) as there are more negative ions in the air.

Its a fresh one this morning...pretty white out there in places..The birds arrived early to the bird tables ..with a blue sky looks like its going to be a bright but cold day ahead..

If I was to wear a kilt in this weather I think I would be in serious trouble, it's freezing!!!!!!!!!!

Had hard frosts for about 3-4 days also had some snow on the mountains looks like it could be a bad winter up here

Is it a bit brass monkey up there..Wouldnt want your knees to freeze now Stewy would we..It was supposed to be frosty last night with a clear sky and all ..but it started raining very early morning..hasnt got up higher that 5c alday..

Talking of Brass monkeys Julie Jam its brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr freezing went into Culbin Nature Reserve yesterday you would have thought I was on an expedition to the North Pole its that cold.Snow on the mountains on the Black Isle across the Moray Firth,it looks like we are going to suffer hard this year up here.
At least it will clear all the bugs nice healthy fresh air

Absolutely bitter here tonight.I think we`re forecast some rain, but if the temps stay this low its likely to end up as sleet

Snow on the mountains sounds lovely...should have taken a few pic's Im sure you guys up there are harden to those winter winds and snow falls...

Its cold and nice Julie jam but when your fingers refuse to work the controls of the camera it gets rather frustrating

especially if your trying to catch something in flight or unexpected,but we will survive,we will soldier on we are used to it I think

On Thursday I woke to dense fog and heavy frost, but the sun looked as though it might break through. I got on my little motorbike fast and headed acrosss the valley and steep uphill. It was lovely on the way, a mixture of mist, sunlight and hoar frost on the trees. On the Ridgeway, 1700 feet up, I was in bright sunlight above the clouds! All the hilltops for miles were sunlit, with every valley full of cloud!

Oh, do I love it here!
