| |  Halo Around The Moon !
Hi folks,
It's not happend rencently or i have'nt seen it if it has! but in 2005 in winter it got pretty cold and in the clear star lit sky i could see almost a halo around the moon, when i say 'around the moon' it must have been at least ten times the size and a way around it, like the moon were a five pence piece and the ring would be the outline of a two pound coin against it!
Does anyone know what causes this or why ?? it's real enigmatic to me but sadly i have'nt seen it since ! its like the outline of the moon was reflecting in the atmosphere ! wierd
