| | october sun hi i just had to write about the weather yesterday,in cambridgeshire it was like the middle of summer,i spent most of the day in the garden pulling up and cutting down, just general tidying up,repotted some hebe cuttings and fushia, three quarter filled my recyle bin, my birds were all singing happily what a differance the sun dose make to us all,all of my cockatiels all but one have stopped breeding now,i have one nest box left with one baby in it,wont be long now befor he flys then i have the job of cleaning all ten of the nest boxes, nice job i dont think. Now today satureday its all overcast and dull, how it changes over night amazes me,i am sitting in my conservatory on my pc,two cockatiels behind me climming all over their cage thretening to jump on my back and mess up my spelling which is not good anyway,i have always wrote how it sounds if its wrong tuff its right to me,english languidge has always tripped me up on many words still never mind it still says what i want it to say. |

| | | Re: october sun These sunny autumn days are a wonderful bonus, aren't they? Thursday was just beautiful in Norfolk, where we went to see what birds were about at Snettisham - I came back with a sunburned face and a happy smile
ps and some photos that might find their way on here when I have time to resize them. |

| | | Re: october sun Well it was again gorgeous this morning (sunday) at work and folk were turning out in droves to enjoy an idyllic day. I get home from work and ponder where to go to get out and about without getting too snagged with folk and traffic and almost immediately the sun disappeared. Now its grey and cold and very uninviting in this bit of Lancashire . . . I think my colleague who was due to start needing to park cars must have been on his prayer mat at dinner time - well get up Tony cos its working!!

| | | Re: october sun Took this pic yesterday down at my local lake..
A perfect early morning ..with a little mist and the sun breaking
through..With the swans swiming down the centre they must have
thought summer had returned..
And today its pouring down here..I hear a song coming to mind
"What a difference a day makes 24 little hrs..."
