Countryfile weather report

Comes to something when the weather readers most positive comment for Easters forecast is...

"Good news for reservoirs"

Yeah thanks mate.

Re: Countryfile weather report

Not round here the reservoirs are full to the top.

You have to remember the National forecast on the BBC refers to London and South East area only. The rest of us don't exist.

Re: Countryfile weather report

Wish somebody would tell the government that. Hosepipe bans after the weather we have had. Do we live in the biggest scare-mongering country in the world?

120 deaths world wide from bird flu and our government says we should prepare for mass burials. We are being ruled by a bunch of monkies.

Na, monkies are much more sensible!

Well after finding a dead Goose today, my local Park is empty. I was the only one there, normally scores of people would be out walking by the lake.

Re: Countryfile weather report

Send any spare water south please. We've got some tinder dry areas that have already experienced field fires. Hose pipe bans in force in most of the SE too. RSPB reserves threatened with closure. There are also properties suffering with subsidence because the foundations are drying out. We've noticed a few strange cracks in our lounge. Perhaps we're destined to have the first English desert! ww

What bugs me is this is nothing new, the south east and the east have been dry for decades, and what have they done? Nothing! Up here we're drowning! Every year it's the same old story, hose pipe ban, don't waste water etc. If they'd have got off their backsides and put a national grid in, the problem would have been solved years ago.

Re: Countryfile weather report

Since I posted yesterday about the south being dry we've had torrential rain, 4inches of snow and heavy hail just now. Bracing ourselves for a tornado now I should think. I better keep my mouth shut in future! (No rude comments please!)ww
